royal皇家88平台创建于1956年，历经华侨函授部、海外函授部、海外函授学院、海外教育学院、海外教育学院与国际学院合署等不同时期。2020年10月，为积极把握国际中文教育的新机遇，学校将海外教育学院与汉语国际推广南方基地/孔子学院办公室合并，学院更名为国际中文教育学院/海外教育学院。经过60余年的发展，学院已经形成了汉语国际教育与文化传播并重、学历教育与非学历教育兼备、面授教学与远程教育并举、理论研究与应用开发并行的特色，同时承担我校15所共建孔子学院和1所中国语言文化研究中心的管理与发展工作。学院现设有华文系、中外语言交流合作中心、汉语国际推广南方基地、港澳台侨先修部等机构，是国家语委汉语口语水平考试和汉语水平考试考点。

学院现有专任教师63人，其中副教授以上25人，青年教师占比接近一半。学院加强对在职教师的培养，不断壮大队伍并提高队伍专业水平。绝大多数专任教师有在国外留学进修和从事汉语教学、师资培训工作的经历。通过高质量、高水平的师资培养，学院全方位推进学科发展、教学科研和社会服务，形成了一支学科结构完备、人才梯度合理、素质过硬、充满活力的教师队伍，影响力不断提升。

学院教学类别和层次多元化，从来华留学的汉语本科生、长短期进修生及海外远程教育本科生，到语言学专业硕士生、汉语国际教育硕士生、对外汉语教学双学位，到孔子学院中外方院长、汉语教师、志愿者岗前培训等，学院着力培养具有全球视野、热爱国际中文教育事业，能胜任国际中文教育各种任务的复合型专门人才，同时以共建孔子学院为支点拓展国际中文教育广度深度， 65年来，共培养了约6万名各类人才；我校共建孔子学院海外注册学员逾20万。此外，学院下设台港澳学生先修部至今已有27年历史，升学率均在95%以上，在社会上有着广泛的影响力和知名度，是厦门大学联系和服务广大港澳台侨胞的纽带与桥梁。

学院教师积极承担各级各类科研课题，围绕开设专业与课程，突出海外教育特色和应用性，持续开展科研工作。近十年来，正式出版编著28部，在国内外发表论文600多篇。学院积极搭建学科交流平台，主办《海外华文教育》等学术期刊杂志，在国内业界具有较大影响。

学院以服务于国际中文教育和孔子学院建设为目标，下设厦门大学中外语言交流合作中心（Xiamen University Center for Language Education and Cooperation），致力于推进以孔子学院为载体的国际中文教育，服务五大洲14所厦门大学共建孔子学院管理与发展，与国内外兄弟院校开展中外语言交流合作，建设中外语言交流合作示范基地，共同搭建学习语言、交流文化、推动校际间全方位合作的平台。

Profile of Xiamen University Chinese International Education College / Overseas Education College

Founded in 1956, Xiamen University Chinese International Education College / Overseas Education College has been evolved through different periods from Overseas Chinese Correspondence Education Department, Overseas Correspondence Education Department, Overseas Correspondence Education College, Overseas Education College, and a combined institute of Chinese International Education College / Overseas Education College.

In October 2020, in order to grasp the new opportunity of Chinese international education, Xiamen University made a combination of Overseas Education College with the Southern Base of Chinese International Promotion / Confucius Institute Office and changed its name to Chinese International Education College / Overseas Education College. As a result of development of over six decades, the college has formed a feature of attaching equal importance to Chinese international education and cultural dissemination, offering academic certificate education and non-school record education at the same time, conducting face-to-face personal teaching and distance education simultaneously, combining theoretical research with application and development. Meanwhile, the college has undertaken the management and development of 15 co-built Confucius institutes and 1 Chinese Language and Culture Research Center overseas. It currently comprises Chinese Department, Center of Chinese and Foreign Languages Cooperation and Exchange, Southern Base of Chinese International Promotion, Advanced Placement Department for Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc. It also has a testing center for HSKK, and HSK commissioned by the State Language Commission.

The college currently has a full-time teaching staff of 63 teachers, of whom 25 are associate professors and professors, nearly half are young teachers. The college has strengthened the training of full-time teachers, constantly improving the academic level of its teaching team. Most of the full-time teachers have studied and engaged in Chinese teaching, and teacher-training abroad. Through high-quality and high-level cultivation of teachers, the college has advanced the disciplinary development, teaching and research, and social service in an all-round way, and established a teaching team with all needed disciplines, reasonable structure of talented person echelons, highly qualified, and full of energy. The college’s impact has been increasing steadily.

The college has diversified and multi-leveled categories of teaching, ranging from bachelor degree programs for foreign students, long- and short-term training programs, and distance bachelor-degree programs for foreign students, to master degree programs of linguistics, master programs of Chinese international education, double-degree programs of Chinese as a foreign language, to the training programs for Chinese and foreign directors of Confucius institute, Chinese teachers, and pre-job training for volunteer teachers, and so on, sparing no effort to cultivate specially-integrated talents that are equipped with a global view, instilled with a love for Chinese international education, and enabled to carry out all kind of tasks related to Chinese international education. Meanwhile, the college has extended and deepened Chinese international education with the support of its co-built Confucius institutes overseas. In the past 65 years, the college has brought up about 60,000 talents of all kinds, and its co-built Confucius institutes have a total of over 200,000 registered students. Besides, the Advanced Placement Department for Students from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao has been in operation for 27 years, with a constant enrollment rate of over 95%. With a broad social impact and great popularity, it has been acting as a bridge for Xiamen University to link and serve our broad compatriots in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.

The teachers of the college have continuously undertaken research projects of various subjects focusing on their disciplines and courses, highlighting the characteristics and applicability of overseas education. In the past 10 years, they have officially published 28 books and over 600 papers in China and abroad based on their research. The college has also actively established platforms for academic and disciplinary exchange by publishing journals such as Overseas Chinese Education and so on, which have great impact domestically.

Aimed at serving international Chinese education and the construction of Confucius institutes, the college has set up Xiamen University Center for Language Education and Cooperation and is determined to promote international Chinese education through Confucius institutes, undertake the management and development of the 14 Confucius institutes co-built by Xiamen University in five continents, carry out language exchange and cooperation with partnership universities at home and abroad, establish a demonstration base for language exchange and cooperation, jointly establish platforms for language learning, cultural exchange, promoting inter-university cooperation in an all-round way.

Chinese International Education College / Overseas Education College is making great efforts to build itself into a high-level and well-known institute for Chinese international education with advanced concept, distinctive character, and demonstrative effect.
